SOHH First’s ShortFuze Decodes “Fuze Is Lit” Mixtape: “I’m Really About To Blow” [Audio]

“Fuze Is Lit” is special to me because it’s my second official mixtape. “Expect the Unexpected” was my debut.

It just shows that I came a long way in only six months of the time in-between “Expect the Unexpected” and “Fuze Is Lit.” I’m showing everybody the fuse is really lit and I feel like I’m really about to blow.

That’s how I came up with the tape and that’s why I dropped it on the Fourth of July based on that title, “Fuze Is Lit.”

I’m based right outside of Pittsburgh. The music scene is really in Pittsburgh so I’m just trying to build my fan base.

If you took the time and checked out “Expect the Unexpected,” the people around here would think I wasn’t really working if I hadn’t come right back with “Fuze Is Lit.”

That’s why I dropped it so quick.

I would say my song “Make Myself Known” stands out more than anything from my “Fuze Is Lit” mixtape.

I’m painting a bigger picture on where I’m from and I put a video together for it. It just released a few weeks ago.

That’s probably one of the bigger and more special ones to me.

I definitely thought it would be a music video.

I represent where I’m at. Pittsburgh is there, it’s only about 30 to 45 minutes away from here.

But Pittsburgh and Monessen are different. Pittsburgh is known for the 412 and my whole area code is different, it’s 724.

We’re on the outskirts but I really represent Monessen. I don’t really want to be considered a Pittsburgh rapper but at the same time, when you explain you’re from Monessen, it’s a small town, you’re better off saying it’s Pittsburgh.
