Despite the perceived pressure, Joc said he is prepared for fans and critics alike to see him as a family man.

“I’m definitely prepared for it to change. I know what I signed up for. I ain’t no spring chicken. I’ve been around the block. The name is Yung Joc and I have a youthful vibrance to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m a grown man. Hell, my son is 14 and I did not have him at a young age. With that being said, I ain’t gotta say too much more. [laughs]” (Chicago Defender)

Buzz about Joc heading to the popular VH1 reality television series bubbled online earlier this month.

Yung Joc is back from his “hiatus” with new music and as a new face on a hit show. Besides releasing his new single “I Got B*tches,” the Atlanta rapper will be joining the cast Love & Hip Hop Atlanta alongside girlfriend Karlie Redd. Over the winter, details about Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame joining the show with longtime girlfriend Tammy Rivera emerged.

The cast of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” just got a little more interesting. On Jan. 27 Mstarz reports that Waka Flocka has signed on to join the reality television show. Waka Flocka confirmed that he will be on the show and will be bringing fiance Tammy Rivera with him. He also confirmed that he will be marrying Rivera real soon. Waka also downplayed bringing any serious drama to the popular series.

The “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” news was first confirmed in a radio interview between Waka Flocka and 93.9 WKYS in Washington D.C. There he talked about his plans. When asked about possible drama while doing the show Flocka responded, “They know not to play with me. I’d go sit behind that metal for mines. But its not even about that. To me, a person can’t do nothing you don’t let them.” (Examiner)
