According to reports, VH1 pulled the plug on Berg Friday (November 7) following a publicized arrest earlier this week.

Yung Berg has been fired from the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop Hollywood due to the “severity of the allegations” stemming from his recent arrest for alleged domestic assault following a confrontation with co-star and girlfriend Masika Tucker. Berg has not commented. The news was announced on the cable channel’s blog on Friday evening. (E! Online)

Graphic details about the alleged attack surfaced online throughout the week.

Berg’s girlfriend, Masika Tucker, said he “grabbed her by the neck, threw her onto the ground, dragged her by her hair and punched her in the face,” according to ABC. The arrest occurred several hours after the taping of a reunion special for Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. (Billboard)

This week, Berg’s ex-love interest Hazel-E revealed her reaction to the arrest reports.

“I woke up this morning and you know, I read the blogs and I found ironically, allegedly Berg whooping Masika’s a**, choking her out and punching her in the face,” Hazel said in an interview. “At the reunion they were so lovey dovey – [but] I know both of you and I can’t wait to eat my popcorn. I couldn’t even get a good three, four hours of sleep to him being in jail for whooping her a** like, karma, she is a b*tch.” (VH1)

Wednesday (November 5) reports claimed Berg’s attack on his girlfriend landed him behind bars.

Berg — aka Hitmaka — and the woman were at the Gershwin Hotel when they got in an argument … where he allegedly grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor, dragged her by her hair and hit her in the face. Apparently, the neck grab was enough for the breathing obstruction charge. When cops came, the woman had bruises and complained she was in pain. (TMZ)
