Atlanta rapper Young Thug is mourning the loss of his sister, Angela Grier, who was confirmed dead by the family. According to reports, Grier was found dead in her Fayette County, Ga home. Thug’s sister, Dolly White, posted a picture of Grier on Instagram, sharing the news of her death.
The cause of death has not been disclosed yet. Grier’s death happened while Thug was still on trial for RICO charges.
Thug received condolences after the news of Grier’s death broke, such as frequent collaborator and friend, star producer Metro Boomin, whose mother died in June 2022. Metro Boomin also changed his Instagram profile picture to Young Thug.
One death that Thug also took hard was fellow Atlanta rapper Lil Keed, who died in May 2022.
