Rich Gang‘s Young Thug has social media buzzing with footage circulating showing him and his crew in a brief confrontation with Pennsylvania law enforcement.
According to reports, a misunderstanding with Pittsburgh cops last weekend nearly ended in violence.
It all went down Sunday night after Young Thug performed at Summer Jam at Southside Event Center. Law enforcement sources tell us security at the venue alerted cops after they said they saw someone in YT’s entourage brandishing a gun. A source close to Young Thug tells us his team did have 4 guns on them, but they were all licensed to carry … and presented the paperwork to officers. Police tell us no one was arrested and everyone made it out without further incident. (TMZ)
Recently, Thugger talked about his admiration and respect for longtime pal Gucci Mane.
“He taught me everything,” Thug says. “Most definitely he taught me don’t never stop. He was rapping every day, all day and all night. He’ll be mad at me if I’d leave the ‘yo [the studio]. He’d be like, ‘Man, you dead broke and you goddamn running around and I’m up a whole lot of millions and I’m working every day. How the h*ll that look?’” Gucci chimes in, cheesing: “I’d tell Thug all the time, ‘Where you goin?! You see me in here every day, why you goin’ so soon?’” (The FADER)
In mid-July, Young Thug and Gucci released their “Guwop Home” music video.
Last month, Gucci and Thug teamed up for a studio session.
