YSL takes promo to another level. Young Thug and Gunna destroyed a Rolls Royce to promote Thug’s upcoming studio album Punk, which arrives this Friday.
YSL Takes Bat To Rolls Royce
The video begins with Gunna on top of a white Rolls Royce while he throws a bat to the vehicle’s windshield. He then steps on the windshield which is spray-painted “PUNK.” Young Thug and Metro Boomin can both be seen circling the vehicle with bats also.
Young Thug’s PUNK Rollout
Young Thug’s album “PUNK” is being released on October 15 and Thugger has been making his rounds. He first premiered a few songs and announced the release date for the album while performing on NPR’s Tiny Desk.
As videos of Thug and Gunna’s Rolls Royce demolition made Twitter rounds on Wednesday (Oct. 13), some fans compared the stunt to Kanye West and JAY-Z’s “Otis” music video, in which the pair took apart a Maybach 57.
Young Thug will perform as the musical act on Saturday Night Live the day after his album drops.
