Atlanta rapper Young Thug is really pulling for Blac Youngsta‘s release. The hip-hop artist has released a tribute track for the jailed entertainer.
After an initial Instagram preview, Thugger released his anthem last night (May 17) across social media.
Over thumping production from Wheezy and DY of 808 Mafia, Thugger sings about his incarcerated collaborator. “I say free Blac Youngsta,” Jeffery harmonizes on the hook. “R.I.P. your mama / I say free Blac Youngsta / Fuck 12, free Blac Youngsta.” As the song’s curtains close, Thug extends the sentiments to many others. “Free everybody locked up,” he says. “Even the ops. I wouldn’t wish jail on no ni**a, even the ops. You dig?” (Rap-Up)

This week, reports surfaced about Youngsta turning himself over to police over fellow rapper Young Dolph‘s recent near-death shooting.
Youngsta and 2 other men surrendered Tuesday in Charlotte after warrants were issued for their arrest. The shooting went down back in February as Dolph was riding to his concert. More than 100 rounds were blasted into his SUV. No one was injured, most likely because the vehicle was heavily armored. Young Dolph told us back in March … he thought Youngsta was targeting him in a jealous rage. (TMZ)
Back in March, YD talked about dodging death and surviving the recent North Carolina shooting.
