Atlanta rapper Young Thug is making fans wait until 2019 before new music drops. The hip-hop star recently talked about his motivation behind shelving tunes for the next 11 months.
In a recent interview, Thugger said a family member is the key reason why he’s going radio silent.
“I’ve got a deaf brother. I’ve got a brother who can’t hear or talk, so I want to act deaf for a year. So, I ain’t going to put out no music this year. In 2019, I’m going to put out probably Hi-Tunes.” (HYPEBEAST)
This week, Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert referred to Thug’s new “Sex” alias and said he wanted new music.
