Atlanta rapper Young Thug’s RICO trial is underway, and a new video shows someone attempting to hand him drugs in court.

In a new video on Twitter, the setting is the courtroom, where Young Thug sits next to his lawyer. A co-defendant in the trial named Kahlieff Adams walks over and hands a suspicious item to him– allegedly a Percocet, which the Bad Boy artist has rapped about many times in his rap lyrics.

Caught Red-Handed + High-Profile Witnesses

When deputies searched Adams, he had possession of percocet, marijuana, and tobacco wrapped in plastic and food seasonings to conceal the odor, according to reports by WSB-TV in Atlanta.

While Young Thug’s trial is ongoing, several notable rappers, such as Lil Wayne, T.I., and music executive Birdman, may be used as witnesses. Before his trial, Thugger was denied bail three times and also charged with street racing in Atlanta.

Gunna Denied Bond And Caught Smuggling Drugs

In May of 2022, Atlanta rapper Gunna was also accused of attempting to smuggle drugs into jail after being indicted with fellow Atlanta rapper Young Thug on RICO charges.

A nurse attempted to bring marijuana, cocaine, and cigarettes into the jail, and Gunna was denied bail the following July.
