At the end of the day, we don’t get a lot of exposure out here. There’s a lot of great artists that came from Virginia.
I don’t want to say just rappers, you got a lot of artists like Pharrell, Missy Elliott, Mad Skillz does his thing at the end of the year, Pusha T, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Chad Hugo and so many other people.
But at the same time, most of the time, people get on and leave. Most of the time, you can’t really blame them. Why would you just want to stay here? People here in Virginia, there’s a lot of haters here. When you’re doing something good, people look for something negative to talk about.
I understand why musically we’re not where we’re supposed to be. A lot of times people leave and we don’t get a lot of support here.
I’m going to make it in Virginia. I’m going to make it here or I’m not going to make it at all.
I want to stay here for all of my people.
