DJ Drama recently hinted at what fans could expect from the underground project.

Mixtape Weezy and DJ Drama reunite for the fourth installment in their Dedication series, due this month. Mr. Thanksgiving ran into Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant in Las Vegas, where he was informed that the mixtape was a go. It will feature remixes to Ca$h Out‘s “Cashin’ Out,” Chief Keef‘s “I Don’t Like,” and Meek Mill and Big Sean‘s “Burn.” “You’re gonna get what you’ve come to expect from that Quality Street Music,” said Drama, whose own album Quality Street Music drops September 25 featuring the single “My Moment” with 2 Chainz, Meek Mill, and Jeremih. He also hinted at a surprise collaboration on Dedication 4 featuring an artist who he ran into at Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto earlier this month. “I’m pretty sure Wayne made a couple calls,” he told Rap-Up TV. Earlier this month, Wayne explained what fueled the need for another Dedication project.

“I just felt like it was time. I got bored,” Weezy told DJ Drama when asked about the motivation behind his upcoming mixtape. “Being me, I always feel like I ain’t done nothing yet. So I’m always looking for the next thing ‘to do.’ Other than that, yeah, it does get pretty boring when it comes to just the rapping and all that type of stuff. I’ve done so much of it. I’ve been doing it since I was eight and I’m about to be thirty in September and I’m still rapping. I kind of feel like I’m getting old. [laughs]” (Drama Like The DJ)

The platinum-selling rapper hinted at a Dedication 4 mixtape coming together around mid-July.

“Dedikation 4 komin next month.,” he tweeted July 22nd. (Lil Wayne’s Twitter)
