According to reports, a probation violation has landed Dro in jail with a mid-October release planned.
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, rapper Young Dro faced off with a Georgia judge over allegations he violated his criminal probation due to him being arrested on charges of drugs and weapon possession and the judge sentenced him to 45 days behind bars. Dro has kept busy as of late flexing his reality TV smile on VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.”
He’s been working with LHHATL star Joseline Hernandez on music lately and was rumored to be the father of her unborn child. Although the Puerto Rican Princess is adamant Stevie J. is the daddy, this is something the former Bad Boy Hitman has been publicly denying. (HHDX)
Back in January, Dro addressed a publicized drug-related bust.
“The cops came up on me. [laughs] TSA had already let me through, so I see a cop in a flower shirt walk up on me and was like, ‘You got your ID on you?’ I was like, ‘For what?’ Then I told security and he told me I had warrants and stuff – for some tags on some cars that I had got registered back, I didn’t go to court on it, but my lawyers and my managers handled it. They got it straight, I’m out now. As far as the drugs go, that was a sleeping pill, prescription, I got the paperwork for that. … I was going to jail anyway and when they searched me, I pulled my pill out, set it down, pulled my cash out, set it down and that was that – they booked me for the warrants.” (TMZ Live)
In mid-January, details about the bust surfaced across the Internet.
