Young Dolph’s Celebration Of Life

Young Dolph’s memory is being celebrated by his city with the announcement of a memorial concert that reportedly sold out after 90 minutes. 

The “Celebration of Life” for Young Dolph, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., is set for Thursday with free tickets going on sale this past Monday.  It will feature artists from his label as well as remarks from friends, family, and local officials.

There will also be a ceremony unveiling a street that will see a name change to honor Dolph. It will be held at the intersection of Dunn Avenue and Airways Boulevard, near the Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies bakery where he was shot and killed.
