Webbie. I’ve always loved Webbie. Savage Life 2 reminds me of a certain period and time in my life. One of my boyfriends, this is really bad, nobody knows this, of four years ended up going to jail for murder while I was still with him. When I would go visit him with my girlfriend who also had a boyfriend in jail, we would put on Webbie’s Savage Life 2 and just ride out and got see our boyfriends. It’s a feeling I get when I hear his sh*t.
J. Stalin. He’s from the Bay Area. I have a soft spot for really cheesy R&B music. He makes really good hood R&B songs. They’re really cheesy and gutter and very Bay Area. I just love it. Whenver I watn to hear a cheesy R&B song or a gangsta little rap song, I just throw that own. It makes me feel like I’m in the Bay again.
DB Tha General. I love him. I met him when we were 18 when we were both entering the game. He reminds me of Boosie. You’ll love him too if you go and check him out. It’s him. The way he raps is who he really is. DB Tha General is really DB Tha General all f*cking day.
Juicy J. You have to pay your f*cking respects to Juicy J. He’s been in the game for so f*cking long. And it’s just amazing to me that he even had a chance to come back the way he’s come back especially with all the new rappers entering the game. He’s older and really been in the game.
Lady. I just like her. I like her beats, I like what she raps about. It’s simple, dirty and grimey but it’s just a p*ssy a** popping song at the same time. She’s just f*cking great. I just love her.
