[With a highly-anticipated bad guy role in the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie, WWE superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly talks juggling acting with his full-time professional wrestling career.]

Everyday was a struggle not to brokick one of the Turtles.

For me it was tough. That was my biggest concern about the role when I got offered the opportunity [to star in the film]. I was just concerned it was going to interfere with the WWE schedule.

Like for example – the last two days of doing the press junkets and everything – I just jumped in the car, drove up to Albany, wrestled and then came back [to New York City].

So it was pretty hectic, like I was going on to Ventura [California] from Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then doing [WWE] RAW on Monday, and jumping on a plane, going to land on set at like 4:00 in the morning and being on set at 7:00.

So that was the biggest obstacle – you know, the kind of thing I was worried about. But it was so much fun on set. It was just so much fun working with all these guys that, you know, no matter how tired you were, as soon as you hit the set the energy was up and it was time to play.

TMNT: Out of the Shadows premieres Friday, June 3rd.
