Professional wrestling icon Hulk Hogan has some serious explaining to do after reportedly losing his job at the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) over N-word usage.

According to reports, Hulk used the N-word in a sex tape to describe someone his daughter was previously dating.

Our sources say the WWE fired Hogan after learning of a transcript of comments made on his sex tape. Hogan is in the middle of a lawsuit over the tape … and the n-word remarks are expected to come out once the trial begins later this year. TMZ has seen the tape … and on it, Hogan is discussing his daughter Brooke’s music career. He repeatedly used the n-word while talking about an African-American guy she was dating. (TMZ)

The WWE has issued a public statement to confirm its severed its ties to Hogan.

“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.” (Statement)

Hogan appeared to address the matter on his Twitter page early Friday (July 24).

Hulk previously talked to G-Unit’s DJ Whoo Kid about being referenced with the N-word around rap stars like Game.

“And it’s still so cool, because the whole time I was down in Miami when I lived there, you know, everybody—I’d walk into the [DJ] booth and all of a sudden I’d bump into this guy and The Game’s in the booth, it’s all black and he’s got his BlackBerry, and I bump into him and he goes, ‘What’s up, n*gga?’ and I said, ‘Oh, excuse me, bro!’ And he says, ‘No, it’s all cool,’” said Hogan.
