Pittsburgh rapper Wiz Khalifa recently discussed his engagement to former video vixen Amber Rose and how he handles both a music career and their love all in a day's time.
Khalifa talked about the various ways they keep in touch when he goes on tour.
“I love it, man. It’s really structured and it’s good because God puts everything in place how it’s supposed to be. And I would just be really, really retarded not to take those things. I love my wife. We FaceTime and we talk on the phone and she travels to come see me when she can. But she works as well. But we see each other a lot more than people would think, though, because we make it happen and we love each other so much.” (Rolling Stone)
Last month, Rose revealed their secret addiction to playing video games.
“You know, Wiz [Khalifa] always plays this game, it’s some kind of mafia game. Anyway, I tried to play and just found it really complicated. It’s really a lot, you have to go to the gas station and fill up the tank, switch cars, kick people out of other cars and do these weird missions. It looks cool but since I haven’t really played those games that much, I’m not into them like that. They’re a little too much for me. … We played Draw Something for a while and then we’d help each other with Cut The Rope. Then there’s that mafia game that I can’t remember the name of. It’s not any of the Grand Theft Auto games, it’s based in New York. It’s a boys game.” (Complex)
The bombshell recently revealed she placed her music career on hold so she could focus on their relationship.
“I got engaged and I decided not to go through with an album because I just feel like it’s a bit too much,” Rose revealed in an interview. “I’m 28 now and me and Wiz are in love and we’re thinking about having kids — to do shows and start a music career is just not on the cards for me. … I’ll dip and dab and do little cool stuff — I’m featured on Wiz’s mixtape with Rick Ross, and I’ll just do little fun stuff like that whenever I feel like it’s cool.” (Hip Hollywood)
In light of the couple’s romance, model Rosa Acosta recently hit up SOHH and shared her thoughts on the lovebirds.
“I think it’s amazing. I’m very happy for her and she’s just an amazing girl,” Acosta told SOHH when asked for her reaction to Rose and Khalifa’s recent engagement. “I’ve had the opportunity to meet her in person and share moments with her and know the real Amber not only the person you always see on camera or the personality that the media actually gives you. She’s such a nice girl and I wish her the best and I think they make a great couple. God bless her and I’m really happy.” (SOHH)
