After coming clean and revealing his fiancée is pregnant with a baby boy this week, Taylor Gang leader Wiz Khalifa has now delved into their current baby bump craze.
According to Khalifa, they found out the pregnancy news recently but decided to keep things under wraps.
“We found out this summer, and it was more of a celebration than anything,” the rapper shared backstage with MTV News correspondent Jim Cantiello after Thursday night’s 2012 MTV Video Music Awards. “I did a backflip; she was doing this little dance that we made up.” Rose chimed in: “It’s called the monkey butt dance!” Celebratory gymnastics aside, Khalifa said he doesn’t expect that his life will slow down because he’s going to be a dad: “I’ve been pretty focused my entire life, and now that I have a family, I’m just going to keep that focus, but it’s going to be a family focus.” (MTV)

It’s the new VMA red carpet accessory: the baby bump. A year after Beyonce’s burgeoning belly stole the show, Amber Rose trotted out her own swollen stomach alongside fiance Wiz Khalifa. The couple confirmed the rumored pregnancy to MTV’s Sway Calloway with requisite belly rubs and a kiss from Khalifa. But it wasn’t all sweetness and glamour, Rose’s lacy long dress notwithstanding. “I’m hot and my feet hurt. I want to go sit down,” Rose, perhaps most famously known as Kanye West’s ex, told Calloway. Khalifa gave away the baby’s sex to rapper Calloway: “You’re going to have to teach him how to rap.” (USA Today)
Rose took it a step further by confirming the pregnancy on her Twitter page.
“Thx 4 all the Love my Rosebuds & Rosestuds I love u guys so much we’re about to have a lil #WizBud join our Rosebud fam Yay!! :-),” she tweeted late Thursday night.

In August, Wiz hinted at his aim to start a family with his wife-to-be.
“I want babies. I definitely want to have kids for sure. Oh, you all think Amber’s pregnant? Cause I’ve been asked that. Do you think Amber’s pregnant?” he asked the radio host who then suggested she might be since she was recently photographed with a more natural, darker hair shade and has stopped bleaching out her hair to platinum. “A lot of people didn’t even know she dyed her hair,” Wiz continued. “They thought she was a natural blonde. I’m saying here that is not what people think it is. But, she will have my baby in life, and you guys will know when she’s pregnant. But it’s not the time now for people to start going crazy.” (MTV)
