Taylor Gang leader Wiz Khalifa's chart-topping Blacc Hollywood album isn't enough to convince a university from having the rap star perform at its campus next month.

According to reports, Michigan State University has backed out of a previously scheduled Wiz show.

The Lansing State Journal reports Wednesday that ticket-buyers will be given a full refund for the Sept. 13 show at the Breslin Student Events Center. In a statement, the East Lansing school says the concert is being called off due to its “review of recent events and assessment of campus concerns.” (Hattiesburg American)

Wiz had a show cancelled last week due to a fatal shooting.

Wiz Khalifa’s concert in Chula Vista, California Saturday night has been cancelled … following a shooting that broke out in the backstage area of his gig the night before. A Ticketmaster employee tells us the show was cancelled this afternoon … but no further details were made available to them at this time — and the venue hasn’t picked up their phone. (TMZ)

Wiz had since stepped forward to issue a statement on the fatal incident.

As we previously reported … a man was shot to death backstage at Khalifa’s concert near San Jose Friday night. One source tells us the man was shot at least 5 times. Cops tell us they believe the shooter and victim had no connection to Wiz … which makes the concert cancellation slightly confusing. Wiz says, “Due to a situation out of our control, tonight’s UTIOM show is cancelled. This was a senseless tragedy. Violence is never the answer. My prayers go out to the victim’s family.” (TMZ)

This week, Wiz celebrated the success of his new Blacc Hollywood album.

“Thank you to everyone involved in making Blacc Hollywood. These are the best song right now.,” Khalifa tweeted August 27.

“My crib is getting cleaned. My mind is clear.”

“We got number one videos to match this number 1 album.” (Wiz Khalifa’s Twitter)
