Atlanta threesome Migos‘ long-awaited YRN: Tha Album appears to be suffering due to their group member Offset’s legal woes as reports claim the LP has been pushed back.

According to new reports, the crew’s new album will now come out in late July.

Today (May 20), the group’s label, Quality Control Music, announced that YRN: Tha Album, the first retail release from the Georgians will be coming July 31, rather than the previously announced date of June 16. Instead, that earlier date will mark the launch of their Yung Rich Nation clothing line. To make up for the push-back, Migos dropped “Origin,” a kinetic single that dismisses theories about their triplet-heavy flow’s lineage and brags about a lack of body-weight exercise. (XXL Mag)

The group recently had to push back a nationwide tour from early May to July.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control we are postponing this tour until July. We want to be at our best and make sure that we give 100% during the Yung Rich Nation tour. We would also like to say ‘Thank You’ to all of our fans for their love and support.” (Statement)

Last week, Offset revealed he had an upcoming bond hearing and hoped to be released via a jail phone interview.

“Yeah man, I’m good, what’s happening,” Offset said in a phone interview. “Eh man, I don’t know what these folks [are saying]. They’re talking about I said eff the judge, man. I never said nothing like that, man. I’m getting out in like three weeks. I got another bond hearing. They denied my bond because I caught them extra charges. I can’t really talk too much about the case but yeah these folks out here are racist, man. They’re trying to bash my name, trying to make my image look bad.” (“Durtty Boyz”)

Recent reports claimed Offset let loose some emotions during a recent bond hearing.
