While Fab would not reveal the exact reason, he did admit some type of technicalities forced him to delay the project.

Previously due June 18, Loso’s Way 2 will now arrive in late July (either the 23rd or 30th). “We actually pushed back a little bit. We needed to handle some technicalities.” Twelve years after releasing his debut, Fab feels confident about his status in the game. “I’m cool, I’m blessed, and God has blessed me to be here,” he said. “This is a young man’s game, so it’s a blessing just to be here still now.” He plans to do some acting, but music remains his focus. “I definitely want to get more present in the game.” (Rap-Up)

Coincidentally, Roc Nation’s J. Cole decided to push up his Born Sinner LP release date to face-off against Kanye West‘s Yeezus next month.

“Kanye West is one of the greatest artists of our generation.,” Cole tweeted May 20th.

“Which is exactly why I’m moving my release date up.”

Over the weekend, Kanye’s Yeezus album title and release date were revealed.

Apparently, his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, is also part of his marketing team. She posted a photo on Instagram Saturday night showing the album artwork for Yeezus alongside a pair of the rapper’s Air Yeezy sneakers, which he designed for Nike. “#Yeezus #RedYeezy’s #SNL #Tonight #NewSlaves #YeezySeason #Donda #June18,” she captioned the image. Just last month, Fabolous announced his star-studded solo effort would hit stores on June 18th.

Fabolous stopped by BET’s 106 & Park on Wednesday afternoon to world premiere his video with Chris Brown, “Ready.” Loso explained the video’s concept, and filming it in the Dominican Republic. The Brooklyn spitter used the appearance to announce his Loso’s Way 2: Rise to Power album will hit shelves on June 18. When touching on features, Fab says to expect Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Rick Ross, Future, Young Jeezy, plus a few more surprises. (Miss Info TV)
