With “Daredevil” On Netflix Today, Get Marvel’d Out W/ Five Four Gear

[With the long-awaited “Daredevil” show premiering on Netflix today (April 10), Five Four Club creative designer Andres Izquieta spoke to SOHH about his new Marvel clothing partnership, his favorite stitches and why they set-up a New York pop-up shop launch last month.]

I love the [Marvel x Five Four] blazer just because of the secret pockets. It’s very much my style. I also like the zipper hoodie just because of the slits on the side and the pockets on the side as well.

For me, since I am more of a layering guy, I like to layer outfits, those are great layering pieces.

I’m from Los Angeles but New York’s where it’s at for fashion. That’s why you have to be here.

I love LA, it’s my heart and soul, [but] we have a huge presence here [in New York]. Marvel’s actually based partially here. We just thought it was right to do it here in New York.

The most important thing is for the members to experience this and we did this for the members. The members, for us, come first and that’s what we care about.
