Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy is reportedly still down with Birdman’s Cash Money empire amid recent announced departures from DJ Khaled and Bow Wow.

According to reports, SB is completely down with Birdman’s Rich Gang clique.

His name has been attached to the group for years, but his upcoming Swag the Mixtape will be the first project officially released through Rich Gang with his SODMG Records. The rapper revealed the news on the SoundCloud page for his new single, “Cake.” “Cake” finds Soulja Boy alternating between a slower, near-singing pace and the Migos triplet flow. I tried to count how many times Mr. Tell ‘Em says “cake,” but numbers only go so high before they haven’t been named. (Complex)

While there are no issues with Cash Money head Baby, DJ Khaled said he was not on their books anymore this week.

“First off, those two guys, that’s family to me,” Khaled said in an interview. “Lil Wayne, that’s my brother. Birdman, that’s family. And at the end of the day, it’s not my business. I do pray for greatness and everything works out – I’m not signed to Cash Money at all. I’ve been off for a minute. I’m not here to promote that I’ve been off, that’s family. Lil Wayne and Birdman, that’s family.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Cash Money’s Bow Wow broke big news to fans about .

Bow Wow also released a video to explain the motivation behind his decision.

“First and foremost, let me say this, I got so much love and respect for Birdman,” Bow Wow said in the clip. “This is the man who took the risk on signing me, not only that, but a person who opened up his space to me. We had so many ill conversations that I take to heart – what this is is me waking up, looking at myself in the mirror and just analyzing myself and asking, ‘What is is that you want out of your career?’ I got everything in pocket. I’ve got so much music that needs to be heard and wants to be heard – I think it’s unfair. I’ve been quiet now for four years, I wouldn’t say nothing, I wanted to make sure the time was right – I felt I had to part ways.” (Paper Chaser Dot Com)
