Hollywood superstar Will Smith is making sure people know a conversation and pass for August Alsina to date his wife never happened. The hip-hop veteran's team has reportedly slammed the rumor dead despite AA saying he had Smith's approval to date Jada Pinkett.
Will x August
According to reports, Smith didn’t let the rumor escalate. Will had his team put a swift end to the gossip hours after August blew the Internet away with his revelation.
Will Smith has reportedly denied the sensational claims made by singer August Alsina that he gave him his blessing to have a years-long love affair with his actress wife Jada Pinkett Smith. The Sun reports that Will’s representative branded the reports as ‘wrong’, while a spokesperson for Jada denied the claims to Page Six, calling them ‘absolutely not true’. (The Daily Mail)
According to Jada’s representative, there’s no truth in the 48-year-old having a behind the scenes romance with the 27-year-old.
Singer August Alsina claims he had a love affair with Jada Pinkett Smith — after her husband, Will Smith, allegedly gave the relationship his blessing. While reps for Pinkett Smith say Alsina’s claims are “absolutely not true,” he has opened up on the alleged affair in an interview with “The Breakfast Club’s” Angela Yee. (Page Six)
Wait, There’s More
In a new jaw-dropping interview, August admitted the past alleged romance drama sparked issues for him both financially and with friends. He decided to ultimately come clean on the need to finally cave in on the speculation.
“People can have whatever ideas that they like. But what I’m not OK with is my character being in question – contrary to what some people may believe, I’m not a troublemaker. I don’t like drama. Drama actually makes me nauseous. I also don’t think that it’s ever important for people to know what I do, who I sleep with, who I date, right? But in this instance, there are so many people who are side-eyeing me … I’ve lost money, friendships, relationships behind it. And I think it’s because people don’t necessarily know the truth. But I’ve never done anything wrong. I love those people – they are beautiful people.” (“The Interview”)
Before You Go
Alsina didn’t end things there. He went even further and claimed Jada’s husband Will Smith even gave the green light to get intimate with his queen.
“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation … He gave me his blessing. And I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really, deeply loved and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it. I gave my full self to it. So much so that I can die right now, and be OK knowing that I fully gave myself to somebody … Some people never get that in this lifetime.” (“The Interview”)
