Hollywood superstar Will Smith and Joyner Lucas have finally chopped it up. Weeks after blowing the world away with his “Will” music video premiere, Lucas has met his all-time favorite movie idol.
On Wednesday, Smith went to his Instagram page to share some must-see content. In the video, he’s shown having a face-to-face conversation with Lucas and his own son Jaden.
A few nights ago, Smith shared his reaction to Lucas’ “Will” tribute video. In addition to saying he’s honored, Smith also explained how much of a creative approach Joyner took with this visual.
“Joyner Lucas. Yo! That joint is crazy! Um, dude, I am humbled and honored. One of the lines you say in there, you inspire people and you don’t even know it. It has been my intention since day one to go into the world and put positive energy and be able to use my creation to inspire and elevate and empower. I just love what you’ve done. It’s creative. Brother, again, humbled and hope to meet you one day.”
Wait, There’s More
Joyner made sure to shout-out Smith for the salute. Lucas couldn’t even believe Will took a moment to acknowledge his visual.
“🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🌹🌹🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽is this real life??? Bruh I need to take a cold shower and wake up. I’m dreaming right now @willsmith”
Before You Go
On Tuesday, Joyner Lucas flexed some big numbers. JL acknowledged having a top-selling rap album with his ADHD project and its placement on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
“I don’t focus on charts and reviews, however I appreciate all my fans all over the world! I Made @itunes #1 rap album in the world and @billboard charts top #10 album in the world across all genres. 🙏🏽 also noticed I was the only independent artist on the list. To all the indie artist that are constantly pushing through the struggle to one day make it, just know it’s possible. As an artist and the co-founder of @tullyapp I plan on leading by example. #ADHD out now!” -Joyner Lucas’ Instagram
