R&B singer Chris Brown has reportedly been hit with a lawsuit over a California concert shooting in January.
According to reports, a concertgoer sustained a gunshot wound at a Bay Area venue.
Paul Briley filed a lawsuit against Brown for the shooting that went down at San Jose’s Capricorn Bash. In the suit, Briley says Brown failed to provide enough security. Briley says he sustained permanent injuries. He points out that Brown had multiple violent incidents at concerts before the San Jose show … and therefore, should have had more security. (TMZ)
Chris Breezy posted an Instagram message about the incident in January.
According to reports, multiple people were taken to a nearby San Jose hospital following the gunfire.
Brown was singing at 1:20 AM and the crowd seemed peaceful … then, suddenly, gunshots ring out, sending everyone including Chris into panic. Four people were rushed to the hospital and one victim left and showed up at the ER later. Several people were detained but it’s unclear if anyone was arrested. Brown was not injured. (TMZ)
Police have yet to announce what motivated the shooting.
Promotional materials say Brown was to attend the event billed as a VIP birthday bash for several people including the singer’s manager. Video posted on social media shows Brown performing while gunshots can be heard inside the club. Police have not yet said what the motive might be for the shootings. (KRON 4)

while i know there will be some looking for spot light with some anti-clever comment…i cant help but see this man as one who needs help brotherly love guidance and a reality check…i know he on the hook for funding blood and that they may not ever give him an option to leave….but what about everything else…would it kill him to be a little more chill with it…..i can imagine being a light skin r&b dancer what he might go through….i fully understand that with that resume you have to get lit …but he need to pick them times wiser and less frequent….Lawyers money why just give it…
