During the 2020 Christmas season, Brandi Marion received the gift of becoming famous for all the wrong reasons. The aspiring model found herself in the middle of a family drama with Atlanta rapper Playboi Carti and his girlfriend, Australian rapper Iggy Azalea.
Brandi is the alleged side chick that Iggy caught with Playboi on video. The incident caused her to promptly throw him out of the house where the hip-hop couple was raising their infant son, Onyx.
The scandal ended up turning Brandi Marion into a household name. She now has over 266,000 Instagram followers, but a lot of people still don’t know much about her.

The 21-year-old model was born and raised in the Peach State, one of six siblings. She enrolled in Georgia State University. Marion is represented by Select Model Management in Atlanta.
2. Brandi’s Interest In Business
According to her Linkedin profile, Brandi is currently pursuing a degree in business economics at Georgia State. She started her own business, an e-commerce retail store called Xquisite Official LLC, in 2018.
3. She Is A Model + Social Media Influencer
In addition to her modeling work, Brandi Marion is a social media influencer. One brand she’s promoted heavily is Byte, a home dental care product.
4. Brandi Met Playboi Carti In May 2020
That’s the million-dollar question. According to her Instagram post after the Carti-Iggy situation blew up on social media, Brandi met Playboi Carti in May 2020. She says he told her that he was single and had a son. Iggy publicly accused Carti of cheating on her during the pregnancy, but Brandi insists she didn’t know him then.
5. Brandi + Playboi Carti Aren’t Together
Brandi attests that Iggy harassed and threatened her after she found out about her being with Carti. Brandi and Carti continued dating despite the drama, but after the Christmas fiasco, they appeared to part ways. By all accounts, Brandi Marion and Playboi Carti dated for less than a year.
