What Drugs? Benzino Blows Up Over Drug Arrest Reports

Music veteran Benzino has stepped forward to address making headlines this week about being arrested on a drug possession charge in Atlanta.

Zino resorted to his Instagram page to defend his image amid the gossip-driven criminal reports.

At my attorneys The Law Firm of Davis Bozeman, doing a press conference refuting the TMZ story saying there was drugs found in my car which is FALSE!! We have obtained the police report saying there were NO DRUGS FOUND IN MY CAR OR ON MY PERSON!! Also my license was just reinstated TODAY!! We demand a retraction immediately or we will take the proper legal action!!! STAY TUNED!

Reports this week claim the bust went down Wednesday (February 11) afternoon when cops noticed he did not have his seat belt on.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Benzino was stopped by Atlanta cops late Wednesday afternoon simply for failing to buckle up, but then they found a pot stash in his ride. Benzino was hauled off to jail for the belt violation, suspended license and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,269.00. (TMZ)
