Despite the perception, Juvie the Great said things were all peachy with YMCMB.

“From my standpoint, business is great with Cash Money, cause you know we did some good business in order for me to be signed back [on the label]. I got a good deal. Is the relationship hurting me with what’s going on between Wayne and Baby? A little bit in the sense of I wish it wasn’t happening, I wish this wasn’t going on, that’s what really hurts me. But yeah, me being back with Cash Money one of the things was to work with Drake, Nicki Minaj and people like that, who wouldn’t wanna be able to do that? And there’s really no bad blood me with no side. I really feel like when it’s family you stay outta it. I think it’s something they gotta resolve. As far as the business, as far as me, with Cash Money, I feel it’s great though.” (HNHH)

In an interview last year, Juvie said he planned on ending his career under Cash Money boss Baby’s watch.

“I mean it’s already done, man. I signed the paperwork,” Juvie announced in an interview when asked about possibly returning to Cash Money. “I’m signed back. Rich Gang. I’m ready to get my little tattoo and everything. It’s all love, man. I’m back. I’m here to stay, too. For everybody out there, I’m not going nowhere. I talked to him too like, ‘Man, I plan on retiring here.’ You start where you finish. I ain’t going anywhere. I’m here.” (MTV)

A few years ago, Juve said he did not feel obligated to work with Cash Money.

“I look at it like this. Every record company they got out here, somebody opened the door on it. If you go to Def Jam, you go to Universal, somebody opened the door, somebody was first. I don’t look at it like they owe me something for that, in that matter. And a lot of the youngsters, they’re not going to know unless somebody tell them, that’s a great thing. I think it’s good when it’s cats out there like you [radio caller] that tell them the history of what’s going on. I don’t feel like Cash Money owes me anything or they should do an album with me. If we can sit down at the table and work it out, I really don’t have a problem with doing business with them or nobody. I mean, that’s why I was so quick to release the rights to ‘Back That Azz Up’ to Drake, just to show them I ain’t tripping, I’m a businessman.” (“Sway In The Morning”)

    • You gotta be the biggest wayne hater or ta official juvenile dick rider. Wayne have a lot of classic shit carter 1&2, D2, the drought 3. And the nigga was all over 400 degree

      • He not. I feel the exact same way. Wayne will never have that glow that Juve had. Juve would rip beats apart. Wayne just be rapping. Picture any song making fucking with “ghetto children”, “9 gone ride with me”, “off top”…just straight G shit. Damn I miss the days when niggas would for themselves and not a damn club.

        • Wayne outdid juvi on every level. you need to put the hate aside and youtube some wayne shit, I fuck with the Hotboys been riding with them since 97 but truth be told wayne outdid them all on every level,he already made his mark on the game

          • Boy stop. Wayne elevated his fame. Rapping skills? Realness? Believability of rhymes? Nah. If that’s the case I might as well say Iggy Azelia is better than Juve or Eminem.
