During the show’s Friday (October 14) broadcast, co-host Terrence J announced Webbie’s ban.

“We would not like to thank Lil Webbie who is now banned from coming on the show. We will not be seeing him on ‘106 & Park’ anymore,” Terrence said following the show’s Freestyle Friday segment. (“106 & Park”)

Reports claim Webbie appeared on the show as a guest judge.

“All the way turnt up” is how Baton Rouge rapper Webbie describes his current disposition. The unabashed rhyme slinger has been off the rap grid of late, but he’s reemerged to promote the release of his upcoming album, Savage Life 3. Stopping by 106 and Park to judge Freestyle Friday the busy-body rapper cooled his jets long enough to chat with BET.com about the status of his incarcerated rap cohort Lil Boosie and rundown the details surrounding his next LP. Prior to the banning, Webbie informed his Twitter followers of his “106 & Park” scheduled appearance.

“Check Me Out On 106 & Park Tomorrow !,” he tweeted October 14th. (Webbie’s Twitter)

Webbie is most known for invading the hip-hop scene around the mid-2000’s.

In early 2005 the solo Webbie tracks “Gimme Dat” and “Bad B*tch” were appearing on mixtapes by Evil Empire and DJ Smallz, while in the background, Trill was working out a distribution deal with the Warner Bros.-associated label Atlantic. With the contracts signed, Webbie’s full-length Savage Life hit the streets in June the same year. Savage Life 2 arrived in 2008, while the 2010 set All or Nothing featured Webbie alongside Lil Boosie and the rest of the Trill Entertainment family. (All Music)
