As the singer begins to serve his recent 30-year sentence in prison, Lifetime is premiering its third and final part to the infamous documentary the disgraced singer’s manager impulsively attempted to avoid.

The film will be surrounding R. Kelly’s sordid sexual history and controversies.

“The survivors were worried that they were not going to be heard or believed,” one of the producers Jesse Daniel said to Variety during an interview, “they were, as they’ve said, shouting into the wind.”

R. Kelly, according to court documents obtained by SOHH, was convicted on June 29, 2022, following six weeks of trial. A federal jury in Brooklyn convicted Kelly of all nine counts of a superseding indictment charging him with racketeering predicated on criminal conduct, including sexual exploitation of children, forced labor, and Mann Act violations involving the coercion and transportation of women and girls in interstate commerce to engage in illegal sexual activity.
