It literally brings the lyrics to life as French and Tory Lanez take over a frozen bar joined by a bevy of gorgeous ice queens. The drinks billow gusts of smoke as this duo’s legendary level of chemistry heats up the surroundings and practically pops off the screen. The clip delivers on all the promises of this infectious, irresistible, and icy banger. It continues to receive critical acclaim.
Right out of the gate, Entertainment Weekly praised “Cold” upon releases, explaining that “it’s time to show some respect to the only rapper who has spent nearly a decade providing a steady stream of songs to take shots and/or twerk to.” Complex crowned it “summer-ready,” while Billboard put it best, “This collaboration is anything but frosty.” To date, it has impressively clocked 15 million-plus Spotify streams. Not to mention, it became #1 most-added at Rhythmic Radio last month.
