Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame recently talked about his long-awaited Flockaveli 2 album and revealed the concept behind some of his new songs.

According to Waka, he has a tune called “Scars On My Feet” to update fans on where he’s been at over the past few years.

“I haven’t come out with an album since 2012, so a lot of people haven’t been following me. If you did, then you know. But if you didn’t, I’m just letting you know. That represents all my travels, the scars on my feet. I’m just breaking it down for all my new fans.” (XXL Mag)

Flocka hopped onto his Twitter page last week to dish out his issues with Atlantic Records.

A few weeks ago, Waka talked to SOHH about appearing to hint at rap stars like 50 Cent and Lil Wayne possibly landing on his upcoming Flockaveli 2 album.

“When I put them names on Twitter, I basically consider them as household names. I don’t feel like I deserve a Jay Z feature or a Kanye West feature. I gotta plant my feet fully so I can f*ck with history and make history. To me, the only way you can be a part of history is if you make history for yourself. So I’m just telling people I’m a household person like the people I named, which I know I am. I know I’m one of the big dogs.” (SOHH)

Waka also told SOHH how much of a role his fans would play on the LP’s production.

“When it comes to Flockaveli, you don’t look for no big features. No, man. What will determine a successful album is when I drop this motherf*cker. To me, that’s the thing. I haven’t picked a single. I’m not even going to lie to you. The people have to decide which song is which because the people always decide. So I love when people decide the music.” (SOHH)

Waka Flocka Flame released his Atlantic Records debut album, Flockaveli, in October 2010.
