[After recently hinting at superstars like Jay Z and Kanye West possibly being on his upcoming Flockaveli 2 album, Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame talks to SOHH and clarifies his debated Twitter post.]
When I put them names on Twitter, I basically consider them as household names. I don’t feel like I deserve a Jay Z feature or a Kanye West feature. I gotta plant my feet fully so I can f*ck with history and make history.
To me, the only way you can be a part of history is if you make history for yourself. So I’m just telling people I’m a household person like the people I named, which I know I am. I know I’m one of the big dogs.
When it comes to Flockaveli, you don’t look for no big features. No, man.
What will determine a successful album is when I drop this motherf*cker. To me, that’s the thing.
I haven’t picked a single. I’m not even going to lie to you. The people have to decide which song is which because the people always decide. So I love when people decide the music.
Flockaveli 2 is slated to arrive June 2015.
