Usher Files For Divorce From Wife Grace Miguel After 3-Year Marriage

R&B singer Usher is gonna need a girl again. The veteran crooner has reportedly filed for divorce from his estranged wife of three years Grace Miguel.

On Friday, Ush moved forward in making the split official down in Georgia.

According to court records, obtained by The Blast, Usher Raymond filed to divorce Grace Miguel on Friday in Georgia. The “U Got It Bad” singer is using the same attorney he retained for his previous custody fight with ex-wife, Tameka Foster. (The Blast)

Back in March, both Ush and Grace issued a joint statement announcing their split.

“After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple,” the statement read. “We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward.” (Statement)

After mounted speculation, the couple low-key tied the knot in 2015.

The star and Miguel — who is also Usher’s manager — secretly wed in late 2015 months after he proposed in January of that year. Usher has two sons, Naviyd Ely Raymond, 10, and Usher Raymond V, 11, with ex-wife Tameka Foster, whom he divorced in 2009. (People)

The duo initially made headlines when Ush asked for Grace’s hand in marriage at the start of 2015.

As previously reported, the “Yeah!” singer proposed to Miguel in January 2015. Later that year, the duo eloped and honeymooned in Cuba. They started dating in 2009 after Usher split from his first wife, Tameka Foster, with whom he shares 10-year-old son Usher Raymond V and 9-year-old son Naviyd Ely. (Us Magazine)
