New York personality Daryl “Taxstone” Campbell‘s not going anywhere. New reports claim a judge has denied his $500,000 bail bond and is keeping him behind bars.

The latest coverage claims a witness has also come forward and could largely impact Tax’s fate.

While Manhattan Federal Magistrate Judge Andrew Peck had agreed on Tuesday to release Campbell, 31, on $500,000 bond and house arrest, prosecutors on Wednesday convinced Manhattan Federal Judge Lewis Kaplan to keep Campbell behind bars. They doubled down on their arguments Campbell posed a danger to the community and said witness testimony would “directly show” he fired, at a minimum, the shot that killed McPhatter. Initial reports claimed Tax would get released on a bail bond and deal with house arrest.

Hip-hop podcast host Taxstone, real name Daryl Campbell, 31, posted $500,000 bail after pleading not guilty and will be placed on house arrest with restrictions following his arraignment in a Manhattan court on Tuesday (Jan. 17) in connection to the fatal shooting last spring at New York concert venue Irving Plaza, Campbell’s lawyer confirms to Billboard. Buzz developed yesterday about Taxstone allegedly owning the murder weapon which took the life of a bodyguard in a spring 2016 shooting.

Hours prior, reports claimed the murder weapon had Taxstone’s DNA on it.

DNA believed to belong to the podcast host, Daryl Campbell, 31, who is known as Taxstone, was found on the trigger, hand grip and magazine of the 9-millimeter Kel-Tec semiautomatic handgun that was used in the shooting in the V.I.P. green room of a crowded Manhattan concert venue, a federal complaint says.
