Vixen Lira Mercer has put a swift end to rumors claiming her engagement to rap star Rick Ross fell apart because of an affair with hip-hop artist Wiz Khalifa.
Mercer addressed the gossip on Twitter Tuesday (November 3) and said she still loved Ricky Rozay.
Buzz about Ross and Mercer splitting up surfaced online this afternoon.
We’re told they had a major blowout, although it’s unclear what it was about — but it was serious enough that Lira moved her stuff out of Rozay’s Georgia mansion. As for the giant 11 carat, $350k rock he gave Lira … so far there’s been no discussion on whether she’ll return it. She still had it on her ring finger in a photo she posted a day ago. The good news for Rick — legally speaking, the ring is a gift in contemplation of marriage. Translation: Lira gotta give it back. (TMZ)
Last week, Ross gushed over his love for the curvy model.
“Me and Lira are so close that it wasn’t even about a question,” he told me, while she rested her feet on his lap. “When the time came, I put that [ring] on her hand and let her know, ’It’s time to take it to the next level.’ She’s a rider. Mercer’s mother, Momma Galore, hopped onto social media to respond to talk show host Wendy Williams for blasting the engaged vixen for not being wife material and taking pictures with hip-hop artists last month.

“No engagement is off,” Galore told us. “I just got off the phone with my son in law.” Momma Galore explained that the picture in question were from an All-Star Weekend event a couple years back when Lira briefly worked as a stripper. “Those are old pictures,” the mom said. “She used to dance, and Lira and Meek posted that pic in 2013 for All Star Weekend. … Ross knows this.
