Grammy-winning rapper Lil Wayne‘s publicized $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money Records is still in effect despite earlier reports claiming it was dismissed.

According to Young Money affiliate Karen Civil, Wayne’s hefty case is far from over.

According to initial reports, the lawsuit had vanished into thin air despite Wayne’s publicized issues with the label.

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Lil Wayne has dropped his $51 million dollar lawsuit against Birdman’s Cash Money Records, without his mentor ever responding to his allegations of being screwed out of tens of millions for his yet to be released album “Tha Carter V”. (the Jasmine BRAND)

A clip of Wayne updating fans on his music projects and taking a jab at Cash Money surfaced online a few days ago.

“I’m about to turn y’all up in a second. You already know what it is. Free Weezy Album coming soon, Carter 5 coming soon. F*ck Cash Money!” (The Shade Room Inc)

Wayne’s long-awaited Free Weezy Album project is expected to come out this month.

During a performance at the Red Bull Guest House this past Saturday (Mar. 28), Tunechi announced that the free project will be dropping in April, but didn’t reveal a set date. (AHH)

  1. yall gotsta chill with the way youre throwing that Fleek word around. not to mention how late to the game you are if must use it LOL!!! lawusit + fleek = NO NO

  2. Diminutive Weezy is financially past the point of no return. He’s getting new tax bills constantly and his child support obligations are ratcheting up just as his career cools off and the music industry continues it’s steady decline. He will continue with this suit until it is revealed that Birdman has nothing himself. Then begins the years of child support troubles and lawsuits until he either overdoses or commits suicide.
All you rappers flashing stacks of cash, beware: YOU ARE BEING SPECIFICALLY TARGETED BY THE IRS
While all urban black folks understand “fake it till you make it,” and no gas in the new E-class and making a partial payment on the rent to buy the Prada America’s Cups, and the knot with two 100s on the outside and ones, fives, and tens on the inside, understand that the IRS is going to play dumb, and hit you with a tax bill based on a seven-figure income. And as the digital prison erected around us becomes fully integrated, rappers should expect to be billed for baby mamas who use medicaid, WIC, and ebt as well.
They will not stop until the most you can expect for being a popular (childless) rapper is a condo and a 3 year old M3, and until all their money is digital/ in the bank/ fully reported. And once EVERYONE is in that boat,
