Florida rapper Kodak Black is really sitting behind bars right now. New details have surfaced hours after social media buzzed about the hip-hop rookie’s sudden home raid and arrest.

According to reports, KB is currently being held in Broward Main Jail on a slew of criminal charges.

Records show the 20-year-old rapper is facing charges of grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation. Octave, who has 5 million followers on Instagram and regularly shares videos and pictures of his son, was being held at the Broward County Main Jail in Fort Lauderdale Friday. (Local 10 News)

Black’s run-ins with law enforcement and landing in jail date back to 2016.

Though increasingly successful in his hip-hop career, Octave has been beset by legal problems. He is accused of sexually assaulting a young woman in a hotel room in Florence, S.C. while there to play a show in February 2016. And since his release on bond from the Florence County Detention Center on Dec. 1, 2016, Octave has been in and out of jail in Broward County after violating the terms of his house arrest in a separate case.
