Group member Inspectah Deck recently said Wu head RZA has his hands on the late rapper’s music.

Talking to Best Fit, Wu-Tang’s Inspectah Deck said they’ve been rummaging through the archives once more, explaining: “RZA has a bunch of Ol’ Dirty tracks and verses that for years nobody’s heard and, from my last conversation [with RZA], we’re supposed to have an Ol’ Dirty track on there. It may be by itself or we might join it on to another song. But Ol’ Dirty is going to be part of this album, that’s a fact.” (The Line of Best Fit)

Initially slated to release this month, reports claim the project will likely come out in the fall.

A Better Tomorrow was originally slated for a July release but now looks more like to drop in November, around the actual date of the collectives’s 20 year anniversary. Despite the group’s de-facto leader RZA previously saying the record would be the “one last job Wu-Tang Clan must do”, things aren’t entirely set in stone. “I feel young, young enough to do like three more,” Inspectah Deck told us. Recent tweets from Wu’s verified Twitter page revealed group members Ghostface Killah and Method Man had already started working on the LP.

“Wu-Tang this is how it is going down Method Man has laid four verses, Ghostface Killah just laid two new verses, and 2 verses from Inspectah Deck. The new Wu Tang LP is coming together. We moving baby….#BetterTomorrow.,” a post read May 1st.

Earlier this year, Raekwon explained why a reunion should be more meaningful than putting extra money in their pockets.

“The bottom line is: Of course I want to see a Wu-Tang reunion. Of course. Who wouldn’t? I just want everything to be right, the business. When we made a lot of our great music, it was because we were in harmony. You cannot put guys together if there is no harmony, and on top of it, we’re doing business. As a man with children, I have to always look at that. It’s bigger than sometimes just the thought of it, the fact of it, it just gotta make sense.” (RapFix)
