What do you think of 50 Cent’s involvement in shaping boxing, he’s had some wise words for boxing after looking at UFC? Do you think he can make an impact?

FH – Yes and no. I mean, I don’t think he really knows that much about the sport. I think a lot of people would be like “Oh 50 Cent, 50 Cent!’ So he’ll bring in a different crowd. But what does 50 Cent know about boxing? Has he every had a fight? Has he ever trained a day in his life? Has he ever cornered a fight? As an athlete, or as someone involved in the sport, I’m kind of like, ‘What is he doing here?!’ But don’t tell him I said that!

AP – I think it’s possible, he has an influence. At the same, it takes a certain type of person to run an organization. With boxing, the way they’ve done and do business, it’s been around for so many years now. It’s hard to change that. When UFC came in as a sport, they got to bring in their foundation and how they wanted to handle business. I’m not sure he can change the way boxing runs its business.

Who do you think would win in a fight between Rick Ross and 50?

FH – Fiddy, he’s way more ghetto! He would go all street fight on him. I’d put my money of Fiddy.

AP – 50 Cent. He’s had boxing experience and I think he was a professional boxer before he became a rapper and Rick Ross is a little on the tubby side! I’d have to go with 50.

  1. I’m noticing a lot less comments and up votes on this website ever since they changed the layout. That tells me that a lot less people are visiting. The only thing this website had going for them was the clean layout and the comments. Now I have to scroll through 2-3 pages to read a “news story” covering a twitter comment… Don’t fix it if it ain’t broke.
