[With the sports world still shocked over UFC icon Ronda Rousey’s crushing loss to Holly Holm last month, fighter Frankie Edgar gives his thoughts on the former champ and weighs-in on Conor McGregor facing Jose Aldo at next weekend’s UFC 194 match.]
I don’t know how the fight’s going to go down. It’s tough to say.
I’m leaning toward Jose Aldo. He’s been the champion for a long time and I think it’s going to be Conor [McGregor]’s toughest test to date. Connor has been looking good.
It’s going to be a good fight but I just want to make sure people remember my name after this weekend.
It’s never easy to recover after a tough loss. People bounce back in different ways. I just try to get back to the gym and think about improving and just tell yourself it didn’t work out that last time out.
I’m sure Ronda Rousey knows what she’s doing. She’s a high-caliber athlete and she’s been there for a long time.
I’m sure she’s going to bounce back.
