Tyler, the Creator’s Grammy-winning LP Call Me If You Get Lost reclaimed its spot at the top of the Billboard 200. The album debuted at No. 1 shortly after its release in 2021 and just jumped from No. 120 back to No. 1 on the chart due to massive vinyl sales. The LP edition of the record was sold exclusively through the rapper’s website. Billboard reported the rapper’s web store sold 49,500 physical copies, making it the largest sales week for a hip-hop album on vinyl.

Billboard reported that Tyler’s pulled in $32.6 million packing arenas during his tour, selling 389,000 tickets between Feb. 8 and April 8 –  the most money he’s ever made on a tour. Tyler did 33 shows in 32 cities for his Call Me If You Get Lost Tour. New York was the only stop that saw two performances and earned an average of $1.02 million per gig and 12,155 tickets per market.

Last Friday, the rapper’s tour was launched on Amazon Prime. The BET “Culture Award” winner promoted it in an Instagram video containing several shots of Tyler performing in front of the crowd.

WTF Is A NFT?

There’s one area that Tyler won’t be winning in any time soon – NFTs.  Tyler the Creator appeared in an interview where he humorously shared thoughts and opinions on a series of topics. On the subject of NFTs, Tyler stated that celebs are riding the NFT wave just for the clout.

He talked for seventy minutes about many things, from Kanye West’s Black Future Month to video director  Hype Williams’ greatness. However, there was one thing that made his fans talk: his stance on NFTs.

Nearly 12 minutes into the interview, Tyler interrupted a question about NFTs and went on to say “What the f**k is a NFT?” several times, expressing his confusion at the concept of an NFT, while comparing the polarizing space with varying enjoyable experiences he’s had in real life.
