Young Money’s Tyga is not digging Drake’s new If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late mixtape and fired a shot at his labelmate on social media this week.
Tyga appeared to take personal offense to a jab Drizzy made on his song “6pm in New York.”
Check out what Drake said on the song on the next page…
On Drizzy’s new anthem, he goes right at Tyga for having a rumored romance with 17-year-old celebrity teenager Kylie Jenner.
“I heard a lil homie talking reckless in Vibe
/Quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside
/Oh you tried, it’s so childish calling my name on the world stage
/You need to act your age and not your girl’s age” (“6 pm In New York”)
Drizzy posted up a shot of Jenner hanging out with his OVO Sound crew last November.
A month prior, Tyga publicly singled Drake out in a Vibe interview.
“Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki,” Tyga said in his interview. “I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang.” (VIBE)
