There are a lot of artists I like in Chicago.

Two of my favorite artists coming out of Chicago that have been out there that people know a little bit, are people like Lil Durk and King Louie and Chief Keef. But some of the newer artists that people are starting to be aware of are people like Young Problemz, they call him YP for short, Ya Boy Illinois, that’s his whole name, and I’m definitely happy to see people like Lil Bibby and Lil Herb and artists like that come up.

I think we’re in it to stay and we’re in it just the same.

I think our artists in the Mid-West are just as innovative and talented as any artists on any coast. We bring something to the table and we have a whole vibe and a sound to offer and you can see that it’s respected and appreciated by how many artists are starting to work with these artists that are coming out of Chicago.

Definitely we compare, and the Mid-West is one of the stops that music makes. You know East Coast, West Coast, South Coast, you have to put the Mid-West in that bracket. It didn’t just breeze through. We got a lot of talented artists and we gonna make some noise and we gonna continue to make some noise.
