Despite the speculation, Ave said he has no issues with the R&B crooner.

“Man that sh*t was all Twitter stuff. Man you know, everything is overhyped now. I mean, I mean a lot to my city. I know a whole bunch of people that be around a lot of people. It’s like if somebody is saying something about Drake, and you’re walking around the streets of Toronto, you don’t know who’s gonna feel a way about it.” (Hot 97)

Recently, Ave’s manager Hovain Hylton denied any association to an iLoveMakonnen New York concert assault.

“I left all of that negative sh*t alone,” BSB Co-CEO and Troy Ave’s manager Hovain Hylton told STASHED. ” [We] were trying to get him on a remix of “All About The Money,” Hylton stated. He also went on to mention that he’s been in contact with Drake and October’s Very Own, squashing any potential problems between the two several weeks ago. “It’s just wack that any time something negative happens now, they think of us. People are going to believe what they will, but BSB had nothing to do with that,” he concluded. (The Stashed)

Footage of the attack made its rounds online a few weeks ago.

Rapper iLoveMakonnen went DOWN on Tuesday night — instead of “goin’ up” like he says in his hit song — when he was attacked on stage by a fan. iLoveMakonnen was performing his hit ‘Tuesday’ at SOB’s in NYC … when a large man in a grey hoodie walked up to the front of the stage (:08 in the video), and then grabbed the rapper and started throwing haymakers. In September, ILoveMakonnen made headlines after reacting negatively to Troy Ave’s “Tuesday” remix.
