Rap rookie Trippie Redd isn’t sweating over Funk Flex letting loose on his issues with wack rappers in 2018. The hip-hop newcomer has responded to getting singled out by the Hot 97 radio veteran on social media.
A screenshot has surfaced of Trippie extending his hand to Funk and hoping they could one-day see eye to eye.
A few hours ago, Flex named rappers from Nicki Minaj to Lil Pump as wack hip-hop artists.
D@mn! 📸 @funkflex really went there and called out @lilpump @NICKIMINAJ @G_Eazy 😮 😬 💥 pic.twitter.com/aDkyl3giTw

Earlier in the day, Dipset’s Juelz Santana publicly co-signed rap mogul Diddy’s heartfelt clip by reposting it onto his IG page.
“So many people rapping right now. I love it. It is literally too much. It’s a lot to take in everyday. Everybody saying the same sh*t in different ways. It’s just my opinion. I’m not knocking nobody’s dream. I just don’t want the culture to get diluted where it gets so mass produced it doesn’t mean anything. Artists have to be special. Every artist has to be unique. I’m just trying to say if you’re going to be in this game be great because you can also be a part of the noise. All you inspiring rappers out there and R&B artists and singers and dancers, keep doing your thing. Be special.”

Coincidentally, Cash Money boss Birdman recently called Nicki Minaj the greatest female rapper of all time.
“Nicki’s been working. That’s all I can say. She’s been working and she’s focused. I always say she’s the best ever, best female ever in hip-hop, hands down, facts. There’s no getting around it. I just think she’s focusing on her new project. … There’s levels to this sh*t. Very much levels to this sh*t. She’s an elite. Sometimes, you can put Nicki in a room with males on a rap, but if you put her on females, it’s nothing. She’s a monster in her own race. She’s just a special talent. I’m blessed to have her a part of my team. She’s a special talent I’ve never heard before.” (Rap-Up)
