Texas rapper Travis Scott has a teaser in the stash. The chart-topping hip-hop artist has announced having something coming out soon with Kanye West.
In a new interview this week, Scott said fans could look forward to a secret Yeezy remix debuting on Apple Music.
“Dude, yes,” Scott said when asked if Kanye had called him. “I have a remix coming out soon. Whoa, if I motherf*cking told you that I would have to fly away. Whoa. Just tune into Beats 1 Radio – we got a remix coming soon. It’s a [remix] joint off this album coming soon.” (Apple Music)
Yesterday (September 12), Scott flooded his Instagram page with priceless reactions to his new Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight album toppling the sales charts.
This week, Scott reportedly inked a mega publishing deal.
Travis Scott has signed a worldwide deal with Grand Hustle Publishing/Universal Music Publishing Group, UMPG chairman and CEO Jody Gerson has announced. Scott’s entire catalogue will be represented, including Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, which holds the top spot on this week’s Billboard 200 chart. “I’ve been chasing Travis Scott for years. Scott’s new Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight album reportedly sold just under 90,000 copies after its first week of availability.
Epic’s Travis Scott has bowed at #1 on the Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with 89k for Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, which he dropped as a surprise, two-week Apple Music exclusive last Friday morning. On the Album Sales Chart, A Day To Remember have snagged the top spot with just north of 53k for their independently released Bad Vibrations. However, on that chart, there was certainly a photo-finish, as Scott ended up at #2 with a few hundred units south of 53k. (Hits Daily Double)
