Houston rapper Travis Scott isn’t digging into his pockets to pay a group of promoters he pulled a no-show on during Super Bowl weekend festivities. Instead, the Texas native has filed a countersuit.
According to reports, Cactus Jack is taking legal action against three men who allegedly breached their original contract.
Travis Scott has filed a countersuit against a group of Minneapolis promoters, accusing Jefferson Agar, Alex Martini and Patrick Johnston with PJAM of failing to set up travel arrangements for his return to Los Angeles following a Super Bowl concert. Attorneys for Scott say the three men breached their contract with the “Goosebumps” rapper and owe him the balance of his fee over a concert set to take place during Super Bowl weekend in February. Last month, reports revealed a promotional company went at Scott for ditching a paid performance.
An entertainment events company called PJAM claims it paid the rapper $150k upfront — plus $10k to his booking agent — to perform at Myth Nightclub near Minneapolis on February 3. According to the docs, PJAM also arranged for a private jet for Travis, and spent a lot of dough promoting the show, but he backed out hours before. Sources close to Travis told us at the time it was due to weather and logistics, but according to the docs … PJAM says Scott “refused to show up to the event.” (TMZ)

The same week, a report emerged about Kris playing a key role in having Kanye ditch a longtime manager.
“They’ve been off and on for years,” said a source of West and Zivkovic. “But Kris is in [West’s] ears. Kanye’s been making changes and [he and Zivkovic] have grown apart — but Kris definitely gives her opinion and Kanye’s all ears. She’s about brand building and is gangster at it,” the insider said.
