Texas rapper Travis Scott found himself in handcuffs for doing what he does best – being Travis Scott. The hip-hop star’s Arkansas weekend concert ultimately ended with a police run-in on multiple charges.
According to reports, cops busted Travis Scott (real name Jacques Webster) Saturday on charges of inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Police say Webster encouraged people to bypass security and rush the stage, resulting in injuries to a security guard, a police officer and several others. The conditions of the injured was not released. The post says Webster was taken to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, but county jail records did not list him as an inmate Sunday and the company listed as his agent did not immediately return a phone call and an email for comment. A couple years ago, Scott found himself in the same predicament at a Chicago concert.
This isn’t the first time Scott has been accused of encouraging a riot. In August of 2015, he was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after performing one song at Lollapalooza festival in Chicago. Police said Webster urged fans to jump security barricades and storm the stage. (CBS News)
